Goal: Additional Acquisitions
The first goal of the NDR Program is to reduce flood risk and increase resilience. To do that the city is working to "get more people out of harms way". This will require additional property buy-outs.
The city has developed three strategic locations. These sites will be the most impacted if a flood were to occur. As the City of Minot continues its research in where the designated sites will be, it will also be looking to the citizens for input.
