Planning Commission

Overview

Consult and advise with public officials and agencies, public utility companies, civic, educational, professional and other organizations, and with citizens relative to the carrying out of planned development of the city and surrounding area. To recommend to the appropriate officials, from time to time, programs for specific improvements and for the financing thereof.

Appointment, Membership, Term

Mayor appoints ten members representing the City of Minot for terms of 5 years, or until their successor is named. The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint the county representatives.
