How much do bus passes cost?

  • Cash Fare: $1.50 (CASH ONLY, no change given)
  • Day Pass: $5.00 (Can be purchased on the buses, CASH ONLY no change given)
  • 10 Ride Bus Pass: Adult $10.00 (good for 10 rides)
  • 10 Ride Bus Pass: Student & Senior Citizens (55 & older) / Disabled $8.00 (good for 10 rides)
  • 31 Day Bus Pass: Adult $36.00 (good for 31 days from activation)
  • 31 Day Bus Pass: Student & Senior Citizens (55 & older) / Disabled $28.00 (good for 31 days from activation)
  • Children under 6 (accompanied by an adult): Free
  • All Transfers: Free (only given at the Transfer Center)

 *Drivers do not carry cash to make change.  

Where can I purchase 10-ride bus passes?

  1. Minot City Transit office (Minot Public Works Building) located at 1025 31st St SE
  2. City of Minot Water Billing (City Hall) located at 10 3rd Ave SW
  3. All Marketplace Foods locations (Service Desk)
  4. Minot City Transit Transfer Center ticket vending machine (TVM) located at 205 1st St SW -Only accepts CASH. *An ATM is available.  If there are issues receiving your change from the TVM, please bring your receipt to Minot City Transit in the Public Works building (1025 31st St SE) to receive your change. *The East bus goes right by the building at approximately :12 minutes after the hour, every hour starting at 7:12 AM until 6:12 PM.  

*There is an ATM located in the Transfer Center.

  3. Minot Commission on Aging (Sr. Citizen and Disabled Only) located in The Parker Suites, 19 1st Ave SE, 
  4. Minot City Transit Transfer Center ticket vending machine (TVM) located at 205 1st St SW -Only accepts CASH. *An ATM is available.  If there are issues receiving your change from the TVM, please bring your receipt to Minot City Transit in the Public Works building (1025 31st St SE) to receive your change. *The East bus goes right by the building at approximately :12 minutes after the hour, every hour starting at 7:12 AM until 6:12 PM.  

 *PLEASE NOTE:   MINOT CITY TRANSIT OFFICE & MINOT PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT HOURS OF OPERATION ARE 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AND IS NOT OPEN ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY.  Please click the schedule tab on the left for additional information regarding holidays.
