Title VI

Minot City Transit remains compliant with both Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements as well as regulations set forth in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In order to maintain excellent service while meeting these regulations and requirements Minot City Transit has developed plans and forms to better serve our diverse community. If you feel that any of your rights laid out within these plans have been questioned, please refer to the Title VI complaint form.

The Limited English Proficiency Plan sets forth non-discriminatory guidelines and policies for Minot City Transit to better serve those in the community who have limited English proficiency. 

The Title VI plan furthers the non-discriminatory policies by assuring that no person or group(s) of persons shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any and all programs, services, or activities administered by the City of Minot, regardless of whether those programs and activities are federally funded or not.
